His summoning the Jinnah ghost betrays his admiration for Kaide- Ajam

The whole Jinnah-Adwani episode is quite intersting. I do have a take on it in terms of real politic also as to what Lauh-Purush wanted out of it, but here i want to talk about something else.

In fact i believe, Adwaniji really admire and adore Jinnah, not only for his vision to have a homeland for his religious brethren, but also for having exploited and manipulated the Indian politics of 1940's for successfully creating one. And while the general tone of his remarks were by no means unintentional and unplanned and to carve out a liberal image for himself [target of this image makeover being not only Pakistani opinion makers and NDA allies at home, but also the US], but his summoning the Jinnah ghost betrays his admiration for Kaide- Ajam. I have two reasons in mind in favour of my argument. One, his remark on Babri was perhaps enough to get the media talking about what he was trying to potray. And no one really expected him to praise Jinnah.

Second, if he wanted to carve out a liberal face rather forcefully, he could have talked about Gujrat riots, for which he shared the responsibility as the home minister [as he did for Babri demolition]. But prasing Jinnah was something he could have done with much more conviction and convenience. And hats off to the media! For letting him go without asking, what about Gujrat Adwaniji? How do you rate that? Jinnah was secular alright but what about the fact that a part of Indian state turned so murderously communal under your leadership? How do you feel about that? Or was it a lab experimentation of the half a century old formula that Jinnah used so successfully?
